Shear Comfort was established in 1983. We are located in beautiful Vancouver, Canada (just north of Seattle WA), a city where the mountains meet the Pacific Ocean.

Shear Comfort began as a small company selling Australian Merino Sheepskin products to consumers out of a shop in Vancouver. Before long, we realized that our best-selling product was Custom Sheepskin Car Seat Covers, and so we shifted our focus to our Sheepskin Seat Covers. Around 1990 we began selling other types of Custom Seat Covers in addition to our hugely popular Sheepskin line.

In 1999, we bought www.shearcomfort.com and started to build our online store. We realized the potential of the internet and the power it offers to consumers to shop around, search for the best value for their money, and buy instantly online. Since then we’ve been continuously expanding, ensuring that our customers get the best value available for their money.
