Installation Instructions - Aztec Bucket Seat Covers
Congratulations
on the purchase of Shear Comfort's AZTEC seat covers. These are
no ordinary seat covers. A breathable foam backed lining has been
added, which gives you maximum comfort while protecting your
vehicle's upholstery. The adjustable back sleeve and bottom skirt
will allow this seat cover to fit various seat sized and shapes.
Installation
Instructions
1. Slip the
TOP sleeve of the seat cover over the backrest.
2. Thread
the tow straps in the centre of the seat cover through the space
between the seat cushion and the backrest. This is easier if you
flip the backrest forward. Pull these straps tightly and
hook to the springs or metal edges under the seat. You may find
the springs hidden under cloth or foam. Do not hook to any electrical
wires. Be careful to keep all straps out of seat adjustment path.
3. Pull the
bottom portion of the seat cover over the seat cushion centering
on seat. Pull the straps tightly around seat bottom skirt and
hook these to the springs under the seat.
4. On smaller
seats there may be some excess material. Tuck this into the space
between the seat back and bottom, adjusting centre straps if necessary.
5. On low
back bucket seats a better fit will be obtained by removing the
headrest. After installing the seat covers make a small hole for
the headrest post(s) with a sharp knife and put headrest back
on.
Caution:
A sudden release of the hook attached to fastening straps can
cause serious eye damage. Look for the hook up spot and then move
your head away from line of sight when pulling and attaching straps.
Safety glasses should be used while installing.
